Challenges:
Diverse and complex IT environment, remote workers connecting to the corporate network with their personal devices such as mobile phones, lack of full visibility and control over data were risks in terms of network security and regulations such as GDPR. Phishing was a number one threat for the organization. There were encryption policies for data stored on the network, but data transferred between systems was not encrypted. The secure transmission of data was of paramount importance, as employees regularly shared sensitive information.
